Done it many more times than three, and I can attest to the sheer boredom that collapses upon you

The best way to do it is to either A. Split it up, when you get bored with Kilroy, do Hero FFF, and the other way around or B. Jade Brotherhood farming is still nice.

Kill wurms outside of boreal station in hardmode from ranged. Easiest safest method to get legendary survivor, as well as the obvious hfff but you need to get there which can be risky.

Box those Dwarven is fastest. People have mention that HFF is good also but it safer than Boxing
